Get My Look: Birds of Paradise

Yesterday was a cloudy, rainy day here in Baltimore so I tried to put together an outfit that was practical but still cute. Making an outfit look trendy while paired with rubber rain boots is not always an easy task.

This sweater has become my new favorite and I advise everyone to go buy one for themselves ASAP. It's from Free People and the best part... it's on sale! It's such a soft, comfortable sweater and it hits at the perfect spot on your waist so that it goes with both high-waisted and regular waisted jeans or shorts.

I chose the "camel combo" color because I think it's transitional and easy to pair with anything, but it comes in an array of other colors. Personally, I think the lilac and cream is really nice as

Now let's talk about these jeans.

My mom got them for me as a Christmas present and I was instantly obsessed. The brand is One Teaspoon (they have the cutest denim) but were purchased from Free People. They're black, high-waisted with birds of paradise embroidery going down the sides of both legs.

I don't think they're available from Free People anymore but I found them on Revolve's website here.

I'd say they run pretty true to size, but if anything definitely go a size up rather than down because they don't have much stretch.
