Shop My Look: Gingham & Denim

I posted this outfit on my Instagram today and it's such a cute casual look for day or night. I recently got this top from Aerie and was so excited to style it. It's a crop top so I knew whatever I paired with it had to be high waisted, but I'm so tired of wearing shorts. So, I mixed up the gingham pattern with some embroidery.

I love mixing gingham with other prints, textures, or patterns. Like when I paired this gingham Zara dress with polkadot Alice + Olivia wedges:

It's easy to pair gingham with just plain black or white, so mixing it up is a great way to make your outfit a little more unique.

This gingham top from Aerie is only $29.95. It has adjustable straps and a stretchy accordion fabric so don't worry about it being too tight. It also has an adorable bow in the middle that is adjustable to create a looser or tighter look.

This denim skirt is from Topshop. It's black denim with red embroidered roses. It's an adorable skirt for all four seasons. I wore it in colder weather with a long sleeve top and over the knee boots. And now I made it summer appropriate with sneakers and a croptop.

I bought this skirt a few months ago so it's sold out on Topshop BUT I found the same exact skirt for sale on Poshmark in a size 2, here

These YSL aviators were a birthday gift from my boyfriend and I have been living in them this Summer. I wear them almost everyday. They're the perfect aviators and they go with everything. You can shop them here . They came in a few different colors; mine are the shade GOLD.

Last but certainly not least, the shoes. I bought these Vans about five months ago and I've gotten so much use out of them. They're so comfortable and are the perfect way to dress down an outfit. I wasn't feeling sandals today, so these did the trick perfectly. You can shop them here
