Today is my first day back to work after vacation and the struggle is REAL. I went to Bermuda for the first time and it was so beautiful. It's so crazy to think that a perfect paradise exists just a 90 minute flight away from the hustle and bustle of New York. Bermuda is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and as I was laying on the beach, I would've sworn I was in the Caribbean.
I spent my time in Bermuda tanning, swimming, reading, and eating and that's EXACTLY how I wanted it. I even went to the gym once ! Overachiever, I know.
Anyway, let's break it down and get to the details of my trip to Bermuda.
Hotel:
My parents and I stayed at The Loren Hotel at Pink Beach (pronounced Lauren) and it was absolutely gorgeous. It's located on, you guessed it, Pink Beach and is a super luxe, chic hotel. There are only 45 rooms in the entire hotel ! If you just want to relax and unwind, it's the perfect place.
Restaurants:

This restaurant was our favorite ! It's a fancy, cottage style French restaurant complete with stone walls and dark wooden ceiling beams. Hot Tip: order the caesar salad ! They make it in front of you and it was easily the best caesar salad I've ever eaten; you won't regret it.

The views in this restaurant are stunning ! Make sure you go in time to see the sunset and if it's not too hot, reserve a table outside. The menu is really extensive and has everything from pasta to sushi.

This Italian restaurant was amazing. We had the spaghetti cacio e pepe and they make it in a cheese wheel next to your table. It was better than most of the cacio e pepe that I've had in NYC and that's saying something. It was my second favorite restaurant and definitely a "must."

Tom Moore's Tavern is one of Bermuda's oldest restaurants, built in 1652. In addition to the history and quaint elegance of the restaurant, the food was great !
Boat Day

We took a boat out one afternoon and it was such a nice way to see more of Bermuda. Our boat captain told us the history and backstory of a lot of the buildings and mansions we sailed passed and then he brought us to this little beach so we could jump in and snorkel. If you stay at the Loren, you can just ask the front desk to set you up with a private boat ride for the afternoon like we did !
If you've been following me for awhile you know I've never met a spa I didn't like. I had to try out the hotel's Sisley Spa. I got the 50 minute Photo-Aromatic Intensive Hydrating facial which left my skin glowing and radiant.
I hope this was helpful for anyone wanting to plan a trip to Bermuda. I absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back!
Thanks for reading !
XO,
Caroline
